Day two on the wet west coast

It was rainy and drizzly all day today, but reasonably mild. I took a couple walks on the beach, some with family, some without. I took my Nikon with me. Taking photos relaxes me. Call it a vice. This expansive beach in front of me, practically devoid of people, relaxes me too. I’m not a city person, so I feel right at home in wide open spaces. When you have a three year old, they tend to dominate the daylight hours, so by the time we got him fed, bathed and into bed, it was 9:30pm.

I have promised myself that I would complete my outline while here, so after setting myself up with a snack and a cup of tea, I started writing. I’m still using index cards at this point, but my next step will be to take my hand written notes and expand on them in typed form, following a structure more closely resembling a screenplay. I wrote for about 2.5 hours, which for hand writing and initial story forming, is quite a long time for me.

I have to say this little Eee PC is pretty cool. The keyboard takes a little getting used to, but it doesn’t take long to acclimatize.
