Good intentions be damned

It always happens. I get set to do some real constructive (re)writing and a bunch of work drops on my lap. And I mean a bunch. Probably a couple months worth. I guess it’s a little like getting a writing contract, except it’s not writing. I can’t complain, because it’s the work that will pay the bills. I’m no where near professional writer status yet. However, it takes time away from the writing.
