Blank Twitter Screen

I encountered this the other day, out of the blue. For no apparent reason, going to Twitter.com resulted in a blank white screen. Lots of people are having this problem. I discovered a possible solution (at least it worked for me).

I am running Windows XP and Firefox 3.6.13. Your results may vary, but I hope they don’t.

Try these steps:
# Change URL to “https://twitter.com/” (Note the “s” in “https”)
# From the dropdown on the right top of the screen, select “Switch to old Twitter”.
# Immediately click on the yellow “Switch to New Twitter” button/link at the top.
# Change URL back to “http://twitter.com/” (no “s”)
