A Nightmare on Elm Street

There was no reason to remake this film. Oh, what’s that? For the money, you say? Greed? Yes, I guess that is a reason. It did earn back its budget in opening weekend, but it is nowhere near as scary as the first and classic film. In fact I would have rather seen the original film, digitally remastered, than this piece of crap. This film did offer some insight into the backstory, but you know what? Who cares. I don’t want to know. I just want to be scared, and I wasn’t. I was bored to tears. Next time give me the 30 million dollars it took to make this and I’ll make a film that will scare the shit out of you.
