Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol
Yes, you have gadgets and the masks are back. So are the impossible stunts and characters that seem to be superhuman. The story is somewhat stale with the nefarious Russians out again with a dastardly plot to destroy the Earth. But the film is exhilarating due in part to shooting it in IMAX and using the format to its full advantage. This film is a perfect example of several classic screenplay devices at work, namely the ticking clock and raising the stakes. The action set-pieces are fresh and exciting, and the well-rounded team of agents are what saves this film. In fact, the only character that seemed one dimensional is the one played by Tom Cruise. See this in IMAX if you can, a better option over 3D in my opinion.
