Hoodwinked!

After seeing Jimmy Neutron the previous day, there’s no comparison. However, the story here is good and it’s what saves this film. The visuals pull this film down. It looks cheap and to be fair, this film was made with ten million dollars less than Jimmy Neutron. Visuals suffer with smaller and smaller budgets. If you can get past the way it looks, you will be entertained. But don’t believe the “funniest animated movie since Shrek” claim, since Monsters Inc., Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius, Ice Age, Finding Nemo, and Shrek 2 were all released after Shrek and before Hoodwinked, and those films certainly were as funny or more funny than Hoodwinked.
