An oldie but a goody, a classic “man with a mission” story that hits all the right notes. Jeff Bridges’ performance is top notch.

A gripping drama depicting the horrors of war, the bonds of loyalty and friendship, and the triumph of the human spirit. Haing S. Ngor’s performance is what makes this good film great.
